Sara Pezeshk is an adjunct instructor in College of Architecture + The Arts at FIU since Fall 2015. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from SCI-Arc. She holds a Master of Science from Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London entitled as Emergence Technologies and Design. She worked as a designer in award-winning international firms in Los Angeles, Miami and Tehran like SOM, Glavovic Studio and Sinam Consulting Firm. She also became affiliated with Cal-Earth Institute from 2006 where she also managed to hold and teach at a few series of Eco-Dome construction workshops. She founded her publishing house since 2012 in contemporary architecture theories. Her current research interest mainly lies in digital computation using morphogenetic and biomimetic approached integrated in material systems. Her research with similar approach was presented and published in international journals and Scientific.net; “Reinforced Earth in Anticlastic Envelope Systems Martial System of Earth and Natural Plant Fiber”, (Key Engineering Materials, Vol. 707, 2016).
